Itinerary idea

Start your journey early in the morning from the small village of Volcán. You will discover breathtaking panoramic views as you venture into the heart of the Quebrada.

First stop: Tumbaya, where you can discover the region’s cultural roots by visiting the local museum and strolling through the lively main square, ideal for finding authentic handicrafts.

You will then continue your journey towards the lively town of Purmamarca. Here you will be greeted by the imposing Cerro de los Siete Colores, a true natural wonder. Enjoy a walk along its slopes or immerse yourself in the lively craft market.

After a morning full of adventure, you will arrive in Maimará in the early afternoon. Prepare to be impressed by the Painter’s Palette, a rock formation that looks as if it has been taken straight out of a canvas. Explore its fascinating colours and visit the historic church of San Francisco before getting back on the train.

Finally, you will return to Volcán in the late afternoon, filled up with unforgettable memories.
